Romwe.com review --BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I hardly blog anymore, but just wanted to update you guys.

THANK GOD! I finally got my refund back from Romwe. And NO! It's not cus they know they fucked up and decided to do the honorable thing by giving me my money back. I HAD TO GET PAYPAL INVOLVED. I escalated a non-receipt claim dispute against Romwe (meaning I never received the package).

I seriously CANNOT BELIEVE Romwe had the nerve to lie to me (not once, not twice, but four times) about how they had *already* shipped out my package when it never even was sent out. They provided me with a BOGUS tracking # that claimed my package was still in China.

Also, their customer representatives IGNORE all of the emails sent to them. Yes, I'm talkin' to YOU, Sara Gan. Don't pull that bullshit on me about how you're so sorry and that you'll contact me as soon as you get news about where/when my package is coming...and then IGNORING ME FOR THREE WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can you seriously be so fucking SHADY???? Do you not think that as a customer, I won't put your ass on blast? And for what? All I ordered was some detachable collars. It wasn't anything crazy hard to make or ship out. So I KNOW BETTER NOW than to ever listen to any damn blogger or Guru who is trying to promote the latest shit by the latest "it" company because like I said, these bitches are getting that shit FOR FREE. They gotta plug companies in order to keep the free stuff coming.

Take it as a lesson learned the hard way. I hope none of you were as gullible as me....

Sigh I actually just happened to order the exactly same stuff as you - detachable collars and I've done the transaction on 30/4/2012 without doing much research on the company because I was convinced that it's a reputable company judging from lookbook. Now it's still under processing! I've mailed them once three days ago and sara gan replied that they usually take 3-5 days for the processing stage alone and then another 14 days for shipping. I'm sure now it's more than 5 days already. Starting to get really worried bringing me to this. ):

    1. Grr. I'm sorry to hear that, girl. Did you pay with PayPal? I sure hope so! If worst comes to worst, call PayPal up and open a disputed claims case with them. I'm STILL waiting for my money to come back to my credit card account.

      This has turned to be SUCH a huge headache for me. I hope EVERYONE LEARNS TO STEER CLEAR OF ROMWE!!!!!! They are a bunch of scam artists.

  5. The same thing is currently happening to me.. I ordered a $24.00 dress and it's been almost three weeks and I got nothing. My package has been "delivering" for almost ten days. Also, the number at the bottom of their site is a FAKE NUMBER. I feel stupid for falling for their little scam

  7. I wish I'd read this before I ordered a jacket from them. I ordered it over a week ago and its still processing. I messaged them twice and they told me on two separate occasions that it was being shipped 'today' and I should get a tracking number 'tomorrow'. I've now emailed them asking to cancel my order. Fingers crossed it wont turn into a headache for me. Never again!

  10. I wish I had read this before ordering anything from romwe. It has been over a months since I returned a package and requested a refund, and I still haven't gotten anything. They have totally ignored all my emails! And I know that the package has arrived!

  11. I am doing my Christmas shopping, which is when I check the review on most companies I order from (because I've been scammed before by a company in China.) I notice that a lot of things Pinned on Pinterest are from a company called Sheinside.com. I read the review on this and it's a horrible company from China. Then I went to Romwe and immediately noticed that the website looks a lot like Sheinside. I would be very careful about both of these companies. It's too bad, too, because a lot of their things look so cute online! There's no way I'd take the chance anymore, though.

  12. I wish I didn't order from them at all. Positively poorly made clothing in terrible cheap fabrics. Poor construction and absolutely disposable crap. Rude customer service. A very nasty manager named Kelly. Don't be sucked in by the hype of Romwe, people. Their photos look great, but you get totally different products.

  13. I just ordered a dress from them for my Bachelorette Party. I paid through PayPal, but I strangely never got a confirmation email for my purchase. I have repeatedly logged on to my romwe.com account and it does not show a transaction anywhere. I called the 1-888 number on the bottom and the line is busy. I tried the live chat and got through to someone - she said she is not finding anything ordered by me, but she will check with PayPal "later". I seriously think this is bullsh*t. :/

  14. I couldn't contact them on any of their contacts, phone, chat, facebook, email. Nada.
    I wanted to cancel, and messaged them a day after my order, and they respond on facebook the day they sent it, 3 days after I messaged them. WHY DID THEY EVEN WAIT TO READ IT?
    Considering most their tights and jewelry is on ebay for, ahem 80% off than their price. Bad customer service, share if you'd like. I had an awful time getting help.

  15. I saw a beautiful dress on pinterest and bought the dress. Apparently I never received a confirmation mail even though the payment was taken immediately!

    I contacted the customer service just after a couple of moments to cancel my order and I was assured that my order would be cancelled and money would be refunded.

    However, the next day I get a mail that my item is shipped! What I am I supposed to do... Horrible customer service. Very disappointed. Would neither come back nor recommend anyone to buy from here.

  17. I hate romwe :( I ordered a blouse about a week ago, and I didn't receive any confirmation email, then I realized it doesnt seem right... then I called them after a week, and they say its out of stock... No refund, no update... terrible company...
