Hey guys! How's everyone doing? I just came back from Happy Hour at this new Mexican restaurant by my new workplace. It was muuuuch needed after a long and rough week. It's so tough working in Cytogenetics because the material you encounter is extremely dense. It makes me frustrated because at times, I feel as though I'm not 100% in the know on certain materials. Oh well, I just have to keep reminding myself that NO ONE is perfect.
So I just went out with my co-workers, we are going to be the graduating class #8 cycle in the Cytogenetics program. I'm in a program right now that's akin to that of a Master's program. Eventually, I will get Nationally Certified in the American Society for Clinical Pathology in one year. So right now, it's as though there's this dark cloud looming over my head. I will be able to *breathe* around this time NEXT year after I take my boards. =)
Right now, it's just work, work, work. So I will just pop up on my blog here and there to update you on my life (not really sure if anyone ever checks in on my site anymore?) Things are pretty much the same. It's funny because everyone in my class is already married or have a significant other. Only me and the black girl are single...and it's as though everyone is trying to hook me up with their neighbor, brother, friend, etc etc. I am content on being single right now, but it does get lonely :/ It's not the problem of finding somebody, so much as it is finding the person that I feel a CONNECTION with (sounds so lame, but you know what I mean!) Patience is the key, I think.
Anyway, I'm really frustrated. I had used the Victoria's Secret bronzer ("fake n' bake") last night...I want to get darker skinned soooo badly, it's not even funny. But when I took pictures today, it looks as though I haven't "tanned" at all. Wth. Does anyone recommend any products that can get me at least 3 to 5 shades darker? Would really appreciate your rec's!! Much Love!!! Bye, beauties!! <33

Got the above video link from Perez Hilton:
"Dutch directors Lernert & Sander were curious to see what 365 layers of makeup would look like on one person, so they did.
The experiment took one day to complete and model Hannelore Knuts couldn't get up because the layers were applied non-stop.
At the end of the 9 hour shoot makeup artists Ferry van der Nat and his assistant Vanessa Chan used: 7 bottles of Foundation S103; 2 bottles of Creamy Eyes E107; 3 Milky Lips L205 pens; and 2 bottles of Blush S301 for a grand total of 228.40ml (or half a pound) of makeup."
SO FUCKING CRAZY!! And that's just ONE YEAR'S worth of make-up. Damn, makes me so paranoid now. Ladies, make sure you wash your make-up off each and every night, thoroughly!!
